Your Local Cities Are Monitoring Your Movements

Tracked.News is dedicated to exposing how the Quad City Local Governments have partnered with Flock Safety to surveil us. Video cameras and License Plate Readers monitor and track daily movement of innocent residents without our knowledge and consent.

Failing to stop this now will inevitably lead to the deployment of the Raven listening system, more Condor PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) video cameras in public spaces such as trails and parks, and Aerodome drones overhead in our communities.

We Are Being Misled

We were initially informed that Flock Safety had deployed Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) cameras. However, it has since become clear that the deployment also included Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) video cameras, including three located on Whiskey Row alone. We have identified additional units throughout the community. Click Here for proof.

These systems are capable of tracking and monitoring individuals, including the use of facial recognition technology through Flock Safety’s NOVA AI platform.

The Flock Safety system tracks every vehicle that passes by, stores that information into vast databases that can be shared with other city governments, ultimately building a comprehensive system of mass surveillance.

We Are Pro Law Enforcement

We are a pro-law enforcement. We believe police officers play a vital role in protecting public safety, responding to emergencies, and keeping our neighborhoods secure.

At the same time, being pro-law enforcement does not mean supporting every technology without question. Systems like Flock Safety introduce a level of mass surveillance (warrantless) which goes beyond targeted policing and into constant monitoring of the public. We believe this overreach raises serious concerns about privacy, data retention, misuse, and mission creep…concerns that ultimately undermines public trust in law enforcement rather than strengthen it.

“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”
— Benjamin Franklin, 1755
