Their products consist of <strong data-start=\"532\" data-end=\"553\">networked cameras and microphones<\/strong>, cloud-based data storage, and AI-driven analytics designed to identify, track, and search vehicle movements over time.<\/p><p data-start=\"675\" data-end=\"871\">While marketed as a \u201cpublic safety\u201d solution, Flock operates as a <strong data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"791\">privately owned, profit-driven data aggregator<\/strong> that collects and retains large volumes of location data on the general public.<\/p><p data-start=\"675\" data-end=\"871\"><em>Flock Safety does not simply provide cameras and other surveillance technologies. It provides the infrastructure for continuous, suspicionless tracking of the public, operated by private entities, stored indefinitely, and searchable at scale. For example, this was intentionally hidden from us by the Prescott Police Chief (we have the email), and the Mayor approved funding without our direct knowledge, and without the City Councils&#8217; approval.
